Hi,

Does Audi/OEM make rear anti-roll bar/sway bar bushings for the B8/8.5 platform? or are there generic ones that would fit?

My car is squeaking quite a bit going over bumps. I can spray some silicone lube to quiet things down, but that only lasts a few days.

Thanks.

I'm looking for the bushings that goes on the anti roll bar (red arrow shows the location). It should look something like the picture where the blue arrow is pointing. Aftermarket rollbars from 034 comes with replaceable bushings, but they're much thicker than stock, so they won't work. And spending $300 + installation doesn't seem justifiable since I just want need to replace the OEM bushings. I don't really drive/corner aggressively.

I'm really surprised that the B8 platform has been out for at least 12 years and no one has noticed squeaks and creaks from these bushing.

I'm looking at the 034 motorsport and hardrace. Think I'll go for the hardrace its hollow compared to the solid 034 bar but I think the hardrace would suffice for my needs.

Thanks for the reply

Yes, I looked at it the same way and was told that just because it's not solid doesn't make it inferior- mine has made a big difference & well worth the hassle when fitting it- don't forget to get new droplinks fitted at the same time- I can recommend the Lemforder ones which are great- best of luck & enjoy not having to slow down for roundabouts..

It's important to fit everything at the correct Torque values - see this useful guide from Stasis engineering- the rear sway bar info is on page 3:

What is people's opinions, fit just a thicker rear sway bar or fit front and rear... for example H&R or Eibach. I was going to just fit the hardrace rear but now I'm undecided.
