I own a 2015 A5 Sportback 1.8T TFSI with 50,000km on the odo which develops a very strong coolant smell when hot in the engine bay. It does not has any apparent leaks and coolant level dos not gets low either.

I'm thinking about pouring in some Liqui Moly radiator leak sealant https://liquimolystore.com/collections/radiador/products/tapa-fugas-del-radiador

Since Liqui Moly is a German quality brand, I think it would cause not harm, but I would like to know the opinion of the forum.

What do you think?

Thanks

If coolant is getting burnt and causing the smell, how can its level not drop? Doesn't make much sense to me.

But as SimonRoma says, liqui moly has a good reputation for making good products. for around $20 USD, it's worth a try.
