I've never been that much of a fan of the Q7 - can't see the point in the UK where it's way too big, and probably the least resolved external styling of all current Audi models. This one looks like a "blinged" gangsta version, which doesn't improve things for my eye.

That said - that engine! 1000nm! I want some of that! And 5.5 seconds to 60mph in a vehicle weighing way over 2 tonnes - amazing! Only the Porsche Cayenne Turbo can compete with this (the Touareg V10 is way behind.) Don't suppose that engine will ever fit in anything other that the Q7 and possibly a TDi version of the R8 - got to be way too big for a diesel RS5 TDi? Would be an awesome car though as I would think the fuel consumption would be nearer the 30mpg mark as the A5/S5 is much more slippery and also far lighter than the Q7.

Got to say Im not a fan to be honest.

I mean the engine is cool, but not in a 4x4, just a footballers wife car.

I'd like to see this doing some off roading lol, although it would probably just eat any hill the UK can offer.

Sorry guys, can't share your enthusiasm. Don't like the Q7 and I'm not a fan of trying to make fast really-big cars... like this or the RS6 and IMO, the Q7 is the ugliest car audi has ever made and pimping it and putting a tug-boat engine in it just makes things worse.

I guess I will get a lot of come-back on this, but it's my opinion and I generally love all things audi.

i had a Q7 for a couple of months after i had a RRS when they were first launched, i would say they are not a 7 seater as when the 7 seats are in place well the only bags i could get in the back was my offshore kit bag and a pillow that was it but my gosh such a lovely drive and i would buy one in a second but hoping to maybe prefer the Q5 instead and no its not to go shopping in, have a horse so need something to tug the box!!!

You've had some cars Jen, Q7, RRS, TT... A5. I can't get along with the styling on the Q7, it looks like an Estate car on steroids. Have an X5 with seven seats and the rear seats are a waste of time. Q5 looks too much like Q7 to me from early spy pics. New Volvo XC60 looks pretty...

Totally agree with that, the Premium Drugs Pack you get a powder dispenser / with fold-out mirror trays and pre-rolled notes for each passenger i hear.

yeah i have had a few nice cars but sadly never kept them i didnt like the RRS felt like going around a bend in a bath full of water horrible feeling i liked the Q7 because it felt like i was driving a normal car like the A8 or something.
