I have now had my car for 7 weeks and done nearly 3000 miles. Over the past few days I have noticed that the passenger door front edge seems to have moved in so that there is now a step of 2-3 mm between the front wing and the door !

This has never happened with any other car I have owned. Has anyone else had this experience, either with their A5/S5 or any other car ? If so, was it easily fixed ?

I have it booked into the dealer to see what they think.

I had a similar experience with my 2006 A4 (just a couple of millimeters offset so that the door was not flush with the front wing panel), a minor adjustment by the dealer to the door hinge resolved the problem. Although the door hinges are a different design in the latest A4 and the A5 I'm sure the dealer will be able to sort it out for you.
