So i recently bought a 2010 a5 3.2 quattro, it was a fixer upper so i got a good deal and it needed stuff like a new battery and radiator and fluid changes etc… But i am stumped on the power steering. When i start the car there is absolutely no assist and and it takes multiple turns and full force to turn the wheel. I have checked the fluid… fine, while turning the wheel the power steering pump also still spins. and i can hear it rev up the slightest bit when i turn the wheel but no squeaking or grinding noises. So i have no clue what else to check.
