My phonebook entries on the MMI screen have just began showing double for some reason???

in the telephone setup, looks like you have phone book on phone + sim. change it to either one or the other

What mobile do you have? I can't get my Samsung D500 to import anything!

I had that problem as well until I deleted the voice tags for the double entries and then re-recorded them. I use an old SE Z600 and it does everything OK - evening showing the correct icons for work, home etc. My Moto V3i just showed the generic telephone icon.

Some may show up as double if you have the home phone # and also have the cell # in your cell phone.

My cell you can toggle which you want under one name, just a guess this maybe the cause of double enties as well.

There is dual (or more) entires for cell, home, work, etc.

However you can mistakenly import all entries twice (or more) and this will duplicate each identical entry each time. If you do this remove all entries and the import again. (Now how would I have found this out?????) ;-)

Not sure. I just reset everything and deleted and re-installed my phone....
