Afternoon all..

Have an 08 A5 with 17" genuine standard alloy wheels, and while it looks good, I'm looking to put some new 19" wheels on and have settled on the 19 x 8.5J ‘5-spoke Y’ design as my prefered style. However, the Audi price for them will be over £2000 for the set (exc tyres), while there are plenty of replica alloys for around £500 a set, from reputable re-sellers.

Anyone have experience of fitting after market replica alloys (non Audi) that they wish to share, or can people share there opinions on what the difference would be between genuine Audi alloys and non audi made alloys (quality, fit, road noise..). Would be criminal for me to have to shed out £1500 extra just the badge.

Also, will my current centre caps fit replica wheels?

TIA

Check out Hartmann wheels. I have 20" reps from them and they are very high quality. I have zero complaints and the finish is better than my factory y spokes. Get on the Achtuning or Hartmann website (same groups) and take a look and give them a call. I dealt with a guy named Skyler whom was very helpful and knowledgeable. And Hartmann wheels are designed to use factory center caps.

Thanks Mopsta, should have updated profile - I'm in the UK so don't believe we can get Hartmann over here?

Anyone know of any reputable UK audi replica/oem wheel specialists similar to Achtuning or Hartmann in the Midlands area of England..

I think Hartman is made in Italy (correct me if I am wrong) you should be able to find a dealer in Europe. Check Hartmans web site for more info
