Hi folks i pickup my phatom black s5 from dealer on monday do you have any tips on faults i should look for or required upgrades before i sign off on vehicle.
S5 is tip with all extras except tv and dab radio.

Mac you sound dead calm for a guy about to collect his S5 !!! Great choice. There has been much discussion over whether the dealer should be 'allowed' to valet the car before delivery due to their habit of leaving the paint scratchy and with swirls, but its probably already been cleaned by now so fingers crossed. There should be a bottle of top up engine oil in the boot, some have had that missing. If you have the advanced key get them to explain that and the electronic handbrake properly before you try to drive off, I was left looking like a right plonker. Apart from that, enjoy the ride...

I'd refrain from letting the dealer detail it. I have a bunch of smudges and swirlmarks from letting them do it. The only extras I got were audicare and window tinting. In retrospect I would get the tinting done outside the dealership if I had to do it again. I got a " discount" on the tinting which ended up still costing me double what is normally charged. Just use caution when getting the vehicle tinted. Use the search function in this forum to read about the risk of shorting out the electronics with excess water on the rear window.
