This is what you need from the dealer, but you do need the Audi Music Interface, as without this the cable is useless.

Audi Accessories < Owners area < Audi UK

Cheers

I dont have the USB Connection bit, it is a 2007 model, i have everything else in the car apart from this USB IPod connection thingy, is their an alternative to this. thanks

You need two items to play music from your iPod:

Audi Media Interface (AMI) Audi Accessories < Owners area < Audi UK

and....

iPod cable as mentioned in my previous post with link to the item.

Sehat, with respect your posts have been asking for a solution that enables you to use your iPod to play music, and the posts (mine and others) have made suggestions as to the way forward.

I am not aware of an alternative that works as well. The only other possibility could be plugging a FM receiver into your iPod headset socket and then tune this to a specific frequency to play through your radio, but TBH I never heard of one that works very well. You can get these systems from Halfords.

If you want decent/good quality, then my previous suggestion would be the one to pursue.

Cheers
