When do most dealers consider a car new vs. a demo? I test drove an A5 over the weekend with over 100 miles on it at a local dealer and asked whether that was considered a demo car (for potential discount purposes). They said no, that they can consider a car new with up to 4K miles. That was a shocker. Any laws or at least rules of thumb on that?

If you were in the UK then it's still technically going to be second hand as they will be the first registered owners and you would be the second, so a discount of some sort should be given.
Car sales across the board are down by 40% on last year for most manufactures, try to get something as they should be trying the best to move cars.....
