Hi all,

I’ve been signed up to A5OC for a bit but have always lurked in the shadows. I wanted to get a bit more active on the platform so thought I’d kick off with a post.

I’ve been a proud (bar the full engine replacement) owner of a 2010 Audi A5 2.0 TFSI Quattro for 8 years.

Im currently in the process of switching from halogen tail lights to pre face lift LED ones. I’ve got the lights (being delivered tomorrow) and the wiring harnesses but wanted to ask about the VCDS coding, I’m assuming they won’t be plug and play? Is there anyone in London / Essex that could help me put with this?

UPDATE

I switched the rear tail lights out yesterday evening (arrived early!) which took about 45 mins in total.

As expected, the lights 'sort' of work. Reverse, brake, indicators function normally but only a few of the LED surrounds function (see photo).

Will hopefully get the coding sorted in the next week.
