The wheels are made by Work. They're the Varianza T1S (Black Polish) wheels w/ polished aluminum lips. I have them on my S5. (See photos here.)

FYI, that photo you attached does not belong to a member on this forum. It's a photo from a while back taken by Senner Tuning out of Germany. More photos of that car can be found here.

Well, since you asked...

how have those wheels held up? any problems....
I've noticed that the corrosive brake dust from the Audi brake pads seems to be adversely affecting the semi-gloss black finish on the sides of the spokes. As time has gone by, I've noticed that the black paint finish in the areas where the brake dust collects most heavily appears to be deteriorating (for lack of a better word). It's hard to describe, but essentially it's as if it's wearing thin almost like they didn't apply enough coats of paint when they made the wheels.

The deteriorating black paint is more prevalent on the front wheels than the rear. I'm guessing this might be because more brake dust accumulates on the fronts, and we all know how corrosive brake dust can be. However, I wash the brake dust off quite regularly in an effort to try to prevent the brake dust from causing any type of corrosion on the wheel finish. I've also applied wax a couple of times for protection. Fortunately, you can't really see the problem from a distance. But, it is noticeable when I get up close to the wheel (like when I'm washing them).

I notified Wheel Experts about the issue and they contacted Work, who in turn, said they would look into it to see if any other Varianza T1S customers had reported this problem. Apparently, Work have sold a lot of those wheels to places like Senner Tuning in Germany, but supposedly no one has reported any problems with them.

Since the wheels are custom made to order, it could be that I happened to get a guy at the factory who was lazy and didn't apply enough layers of paint or clearcoat. That's my thinking anyway. So, I'm just continuing to monitor the situation. If it continues to get progressively worse, then I'll have Wheel Experts get back in touch with Work to get me a new set of wheels under warranty.

What would you guys recommend in regards to setup...

i dont want staggered....

but i am thinking of 20's soooo 20x8.5 resonable.... will they rub esp if i use the H&R springs......?????

is there a certain off set... i usually just pick a wheel that is ok and put it on... so far so good... but i want this car to be alot better then the past...

i want to make sure that i have the right wheels, suspension blah blah....

esp dont want to run into any problems.........

thanks

If you don't want a staggered setup, I think the perfect setup is 20x9.5 with a 275/30/20 tire. This size tire will keep the sidewall close to the original size. You can run 20x10's too, but there's no need to have the extra weight if you are just going to run a 275 tire. You can stagger the offsets for an aggressive look and you can stagger the lip sizes (if you chose a wheel with lips) so that it looks staggered, but isn't. Good luck.

I really can't help you because it depends on what the wheel offsets are. I don't have enough information to make any assessment on how they would fit on the car. Also, keep in mind that a 245 is actually a skinnier tire than stock. I personally think the stock tires are skinny to begin with.
