Anyone interested on a sevas forged group buy? headquartered in miami. sharp wheels! hes done 2 S5s already and i should have pics soon. custom made perfect fit, deeper lip in the back but 10 inches all around. 20 x 10 with 265/30/20 tires. any finish u like can be done including paint match but i think brushed with the polished lip looks great.

I think R22 or R77 would look great. http://www.sevasforged.com/

plus he has a whole new line of 3 piece wheels not on his website but you can find some of them at http://www.wheelexecutives.com/wheels/sevasforged.htm

does anyone know the people at awe? can we organize a group buy for exhaust? miltek is expensive and the gmg one looks terrible. ideas? best exhaust ive seen was in this video but cant figure it out.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEKgFVYBdXs

I got my s5 two weeks ago at the collection. no wait, they just called and told me there was a 2009 meteor gray/magma fully loaded for msrp. i traded in my 2007 s4 convertible (black with gray leather). i was close to buying a 2005 or 2006 997 but happy with the S5. Now im looking for 3 piece forged wheels, springs and an exhaust to really turn heads here on miami beach. already getting lots of attention and talk about the LED lights. The valet at my building park it in the VIP spots, maybe they think its the R8 or something lol.

i had an imola yellow 225 TT with black wheels before the s4 cab. cant get enough of these audis. any other s5 drivers in miami?

I love the R22s... I may be interested in 20s depending on the price range.

As for the GMG exhaust, I recomend that you look once again into their exhaust. I also, at one point, came to the same decision as you (STaSIS was ok, and I didn't like the Milltek and I felt that from what I heard, the GMG stank), but GMG came out with a new, and much better video on YouTube, which I highly recommend you watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTDhj0AFzKQ

After watching it, I realized that the exhaust sound from the GMG is so much better than the others, and if it really is the looks that put you off, which I am guessing that you are talking about the oval pipes, you can also order the exhaust with quad pipes (although personally, I love the ovals).

Sorry for the minor threadjack, but since you mentioned it in the post, I thought I would give you my 10c. If I bought the AWE and then heard this new GMG video, I know I would be upset that I wasn't able to hear what the GMG really sounds like and that I would be stuck with the AWE (and not to dis the AWE guys, I have heard from countless people that everything that they do is 100% top notch, bar none... but I just like the sound better from the GMG).

Please be careful. There has been a lot of troubling stories lately with the Sevas wheels.
"You get what you pay for."

I didn't read all the links, but the only bad press I have heard about Sevas is about their modular wheels versus their multi-pice wheels. If I remember correctly they are built by different manufacturers. The modulars woud separate at the lip crease and literally split like a bagel.

Points well taken. Thanks everyone for chiming in. Just ordered 20 x 10 Mesh 8 by 360 Forged. Chose to go with the exposed hardware (bolts) to differentiate from the pics Ive seen of his split 7 on this forum. H&R Springs and Nitto tires 265/30/20.

Now we just need to pin down that exhaust! Otherwise Im thinking AWE...

You certainly are good at it.
Obviously discussing something mentioned by the thread starter (or, in other threads, discussing something mentioned in a previous post) is a true thread jack... versus, lets say, someone posting a random exhaust vid from youtube and then posting two more times regarding where he can find that exhaust. Of course, because he didn't apologize for his "possible" thread jack, and because he only wrote a few sentences (god forbid I ever read a post with more than four sentences!), then it isn't worthy of a response from you.

edit: Oh, and it was obviously such a terrible thread jack, and I am sure the thread starter is pissed!... Oh wait a second, my post actually assisted him in changing his mind, which is something he may have wished he had done had he bought the AWE exhaust and then heard that GMG video. Yes, I realize all that. But, since you happened to acknowledge that you were thread jacking (albeit "minor"), I was simply commenting about my observations of your other thread jacks... you know, those posts where you somehow find a way to mention your dad's cars. ;)

OK, now let's get back to our regularly scheduled program. :)

Any photos? I'm thinking I may need to do something for winter - put snows on the stock rims and get something shiny for the spring!
