Are you running 10" wheels front and rear, and what size tires front and rear?More than 1.5in that's for sure. Tires are just hidden nicely behind fenders.

Such a good point.Depends on the brand of tires.
Falkens would look the most "stretched" and curved sidewall.
With such an aggressive offset and width, it is not recommended to get a very straight sidewall tire such as Yokohama, Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli etc.
I am using Toyo's.
No rubbing or issues with ride height. Just want to go wider in the back and get rid of the semi-stretch look.Maybe our offsets are different than your LS5s...
Is your setup rubbing in the front or are the HR coils getting in your way of lowering the front end even more?
The fronts on mine do not sit as flush with the fenders as my rears, which works out for me I guess, and is at a height I love without sacrificing turn-ability and maneuverability.
I'd go 9.5 with a better offset instead of 9s...narrow wheels don't give me a hard-on. hahaha.
Put down the Budweiser Al. I said wider in back.....Narrower in the back!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
My Toyo's don't look stretched, just a subtly curved sidewall. Are you rolling on Falkens Sizzle?
I ordered them as well!!Damn, well good luck. I'd rather get other mods:
CAI, ECU, Supercharger etc etc.
I got the AWE downpipes btw Sizzle...see if my Milltek's can pack an even beefier punch =D 1hp gain is better than no hp gain! haha
Right. I used the word gunmetal, but it will not be a dark grey. It will actually be a custom color. The wheel I am considering is a mesh wheel so it will not show as dark as a spoke wheel.Yeah, I agree. I still haven't ordered my new wheels because I can't decide on silver or anthracite (with chrome lip) for the same reason as sizzle. The anthracite color is bit lighter than gunmetal, and I think it is kind of in-between silver and gunmetal (sort of).![]()
Not bad Alwin. You're not as dumb as you look......Custom wheels should have Custom offsets, Custom designed and fitted for your Custom vehicle. So, if you need spacers to push out the wheel more, then the Custom wheel maker failed to do his job.
Widths are not the same as offsets; e.g. you can have a narrower wheel like a 9" but with the right offset, it can sit just as flush with your fender as a 10" wide wheel.
A good combo of both an aggressive offset + wheel width will offer you the most aggressive stance humanly possible.
Hope that helps, tried to explain it as simply as possible.
