MY BABY, 08 A5 with foose rims

ok heres the pics i promised you guys, let me know what you think

19" foose rims
front tint- 15% back tint- 5%

ehh I would've stuck with the stock rims, not a huge fan of chip foose and his designs, too outdated and old school for me. but still, an a5 is an a5 and it's a pretty nice car.

Nice tint. Dark looks nice with silver. Sorry, agree with ^ on the wheels though.

Congrat on the new ride mate. But the rims aren't doing it for me I'm afraid. I think the 19" size is too small to carry off the black look and the contrasting hex nuts cheapen it bit - my local auto store sells a set of 4 wheel trims that look like that for £20.

But that's just my opinion - rest of the car looks lush (love the tinting).

Not criticism Addy but subjective opinion - the forum's full of it!
As we always say, each to their own - none of us (least of all me ) expect everyone to share our own taste in colour schemes, modifications, adornments, etc.

It's part of the rich tapestry of A5_OC......

Maybe its just me but the wheels make the car look heavy.

I like the tint with the silver. Does 15% refer to the amount of light that will actually make it into the car? Does it feel overcast all the time?

hey guys, thanks for all the posts, their very entertaining, but to answer bite-me's question, yea it actually does look very overcasty with windows as dark as mine, 5% is as low as you can get before being completely black, and 15% is the next up that my tint shop will do. im pretty sure it refers to the amount of carbon that they put in the window tint.

It looks "young." I'm sure it gets a lot of attention. The only thing that really jumps out is I personally think the tinting is too dark

i get a lot of crap for my windows, but i think it looks 100% better with super dark tint, havent got caught yet (knock on wood)

^ Yeah, that's what I meant. Totally. For an 18 yo, it's not bad. But if my 31 yo old butt walked out of that thing people would be clowning me left and right.

I think it's also the grey paint. In white, black, or red, the rims and tinting wouldn't look, IMO, as incongruous.

Still, for an 18 yo, not too shabby.
