Great work, wreckless, and a great result. I particularly liked all the attention paid to suspension and driveline stuff - areas we sometimes neglect beyond “yep, KW coilovers and I’m done”. Kudos, too, for being prepared to slaughter an off-the-shelf exhaust system for better results.

This just gets better and better, wreckless. A great use of that dopey coin holder thing, too! I should have mentioned the splendid work on your seat bolsters earlier, by the way, because you’re absolutely right - a lovely bit of thoughtful detail work.

Dear Mr Fatnhappy... [funny name, must be foreign], I have reviewed your recent posts on these new wheel things of yours. I have consulted with authorities far and wide, and can only conclude that these are, indeed, “f***ing dope as f**k”, to use the vernacular.
Oh, and don’t think I didn’t see what you did there, wreckless. The old “bought myself a new project” line might work to hook weak-minded shiny object seekers into begging for more information, but not this little black duck, pal! I am above such petty tantalising...
Go on, then, what is it?

Ah, yes, GPS - Garage Princess Syndrome. The good news, wreckless, is that there’s a cure. Haul the beast out of the garage, ignoring the wailing and gnashing of teeth (that’s YOUR wailing and gnashing, by the way), find some open roads (NOT hard to do in Norway!), and hit the throttle. Hard!
We take endless pride in the efforts we take to improve and personalise our cars. We tweak, modify, buff and polish endlessly to make them prettier, to make the driving experience better, to push their performance envelope. But, for all the care, attention, and money we lavish on our cars, they’ve been designed for one thing - driving. To do any less makes the whole exercise... pointless.

Nope, don’t think it is. From memory, the cabin filter sits up under the dash in some ridiculously hard-to-get-to spot. The thing you’re talking about is the cabin air intake(... I think). It’s baffled and, in colder climes, comes with a snow guard thingy that sits under the grille.
