Hi everyone,
I have just bought an Audi A5 3.0 tdi 2007 and am currently looking to remove egr and swirl flaps. From what I have found in the forum, it seems like I would need to remove the dpf as well, because once egr is removed dpf should fill up quickly - correct me if I'm wrong, please.

the main reason for this topic is to get more information regarding the MOT and whether the car would be able to still pass the CO2 emissions without dpf, egr and swirl flaps.

Side question: I'm hesitant to whether I should even map the engine or just map and remove dpf, egr and swirl flaps as I want to avoid any future trouble with the turbo and clutch if the engine mapped.

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

If you delete the EGR and leave the DPF it seems to cause vibrations on cars with the engine code CAPA, while attempting a regeneration. So its best to get rid of both if you go down that route...

It should pass the emissions test as long as you have a good remap and your car is running healthy.
