Hi All.

I have an Audi A5 Sportback 2013 (B8.5). I had one of those self-opening and closing mobile phone holders mounted to the windscreen. Unfortunately with the stop-start, it automatically opens up, which has meant my iPhone shooting back if I accelerated quickly, hitting the volume control knob on numerous occasions which has snapped it off.

I am looking for a replacement, but can only seem to find ones for the B8 like this or this.

From what I figure my mmi is a 3G/3G+ HD;7T6.

They look the same as the one I have. Are they the same?

I replaced mine recently and picked it up from TPS

The ones linked are really cheap plastic and have a very different feel and look to the OEM part when fitted. The OEM replacement was only £23 I think.

Mine was snapped off so I stuck it back on with strong glue 4 years ago... still there now with no issues

Look HERE, item #14. either VAG PN 8T0919070A or 8T0919070B, depending on the PR code. List price for -B in the US is $92 (!)
