in Adrian's excellent pdf, it says to delete the old maps, before installing new ones.I'm currently mapless as deleted my old partition
nothing wrong with that.a virtual windows machine on my Mac laptop
that's my impression too.but i didn'k quite see any diference, by diference i mean the new roads from last year, they don't apear after the new update
one step at a time.Does this mean that I first have to update my firmware twice (first to version 253, and afterwards to version 257) or can I update directly from version 206 to 257 at once?
you must do all 4 of them.I have downloaded the B8 Firmware, there are 4 folders in there, do I have to apply each one at a time or can i just up load the latest?
can you do this in a separate topic ??Later today will post everything.
yes, I didI read someone deleted the 3 LIT folders, what is gonna happen if I do that?
those folders are meant for MMI 3G+Why are those folders there and what will I lose by deleting them?
you can delete the folder 3GP, as you have a 3GWhat should I do?
scroll down to post #95 and you see what you can delete.Thank you for reply but that folder is only 20 kb![]()
no, not really. If i upgrade is the interface going to change at all?
the "other" topic is also update related :grin2:Funny :wink2: - but think it is update related...
what software version and Nav-DB version do you have ??Du you have idea if this works on a Q5 2013 model with MMI 3G?
HN+_EU_AU3G_P0530 - this is MMI 3G+/3GPI went from this:
Mediaversion: HN+_EU_AU3G_P0530
Navdatabase: 8R0060884AH ECE 5.13.8
to this:
Mediaversion: HNav_EU_K0257_6_D2
Nav database: 8R0060884DF ECE 6.22.4
now, there's an understatement, if you want one :wink2:I'm not the greatest expert ........
that depends on the quality of the batteryShould I keep the engine on to do the update ?
