I'm having problems with my mmi 3g basic in the last month (music and radio stop,
does not respond when I try to change the song, the temperature of the air conditioner appears and dissapears in the screen each 3 seconds, bluetooth don't connect...)
I do 3 buttons reset and problem stay. I tried to put new firmware but can't do it because i have not vagcom to activate green menu, i'm waiting to receive vagcom)
anyone had the same problem? Do you think it will be solved with the new firmware?

hola,
you can also use the obdeleven or other dongle with your handy NextGen OBDeleven dispositivo
You could still try to install a current MMI update, but I almost think there is a hardware error.
wich firmware are on it, use the red menu to read it

I have OBD11 Pro the red one and it is enough for quick vehicle checks/errors and coding
for me it does the same as vcds(has more text+help+users overall) and obd11 with my android tablet or mobile it is very flexible
If it's not the head unit, a fault in the MOST bus could be the cause at some point (interruption, for example).
Seek professional help, don't tinker around yourself.
That rarely helped.
As a layman, you can't do more than an MMI reset anyway.

Hi I'm new to this and I really wanna update my 2013 Audi a4, but it constantly gives me a error whenever I try to update it. My software is a BNav_EU_P0256_D1 and whenever I try to update it to K0900, I get a error that says Main Unit-variant: 9303 and version description-variant: 9498. Is there anything I can do to update it? (I have tried to look for solutions on the web but It wasn't really clear enough)

Please read post 1.
If your firmware version is bellow K0257 then do K0257 followed by K0260. If you are at K0257 do only K0260.
If you are trying to install K0900 this is likely from a different MMI variant. Do not mix firmware it will not end well.

HI! Newbie here getting errorcode 146 when trying to activate maps with activator, mmi also says FSC00040024:0. Any suggestions what to do?
I'm on P0258/0190 and my Audi dealer said that they contacted Audi who said that it is the latest FW. Is K0260 an update for that or what is it? If I "upgrade", will the map activation work? Has anyone had the same issue?
