Yes it works perfectly. I updated one BNav an hour ago and 2-3 of them few days ago.

I have problem with Bnav, during the firmware update CD was inside and now after update when I must to press CONTINUE button don't work and navigation is now blocked.
I have restart system, minus pol from battery on 10 minutes removed but nothing changes.
Any hint how to proceed?

Any chance you could provide a link to 2017 maps for a fast upgrade (2018 > 2017 > 2019) using your method?

The simplest working procedure to upgrade maps from 2018 > 2019 involves downgrading from 2018 to 2017 maps before finally installing 2019?

Is that correct?

No, you dont have to downgrade from 2018. First make sure that you're on K0260 and you must know which Activator is used FSC or Script. If FSC activator is installed then I recommend to remove it with FSC removal script extract it to sd card root, put ignition on, insert sd card to slot 1). After you removed FSC Activator insert sd card with 2019 maps turn on Map view and wait for message about blocked maps for 2 minutes approx. Then insert sd card with Audi_3gb_fix-K0260 script Activator and follow the instructions on mmi screen. After script is applied reboot mmi and you are good to go. If you want to use west EU 2019 map you have to install 2017 map first (east or West) and then install 2019 you want. When reversing back to primary 2019 map the procedure is always the same 2019>2017>2019

Hi Is activator is missing in the files you provided? i am having trouble to activate the 2019 Map. It says blocked. When i go to menu by pressing shift + Setup i can see FSP is N/A and download option is in gray. Please help.

You are doing wrong. Activator I provided is script based so it starts by it self when you insert sd card with Activator files in slot 2. Ignition must be on when inserting sd card with Activator and sd card with map is in slot 1. When you get message on MMI Navigation database is blocked then you apply the sd card with Activator and wait for few seconds and follow the instructions you see on mmi screen.

Firstly i would suggest is to check you SD card is correctly formatted, that it's not to big (i think 32GB is maximum which it can be recognized by mmi) and that is SDHC card (i believe i heard somewhere that only SD might cause problem). Report back if you manage to fix it

Other sd slot must be empty and dvd as well when updating maps or software. Use standard SD card not micro sd in adapter. Ignition has to be off

Hey all, I need advice.

A friend is running 3GP HNav firmware with map MMI-3G-Basic-West-Europe.
Yes, very strange. He says, he bought the car in this state with the Hnav firmware already in it.
It is for sure a BNav device, because a HNav firmware update isn't accepted by the system.
Now we want to update the BNav map to 2019.
The MMI accepts the 2019 3G Basic map, but it gives the 'blocked' message. It's need to be activated.
To activate it with the script the firmware needs to be on K0260.

Do you think we can safely update the firmware to BNav K0260?
Will the MMI remove the Hnav firmware and install the BNav K0260?
Or should we leave it like it is and activate it with a different script, and so which script?

but the MMI of your friend is a MMI 3G high.

OK guys here is mine step by step guide and everything is working fine as it should for a week already!
I had installed 2018 maps and they were activated and working before i did next!!!

1. You HAVE to be on K0260 firmware..
2. I updated the EAST map 2018 with 2019 (procedure described in 3G basic manual installation.pdf) and tried if previous installed old (2018) activation is still working (it wasn't, the maps were blocked).
3. I uninstalled activation using RUSSIAN hacktivation tool (i attached the file now because i finally can, rename the PDF to RAR and unrar it). You copy it's data onto FAT 32 formatted SD card, remove all media and SD cards from MMI, insert it to slot 1, wait for 1st screen to appear and press "any key" to proceed, and after 2nd screen appears you press "any key" again and the removal is done (i think the MMI reboots itself otherwise you do it).
4. I unzipped Audi MMI 3G Basic 2018-2019 5.28.2 Firmware K0260.zip (rename PDF attached to zip and unzip it) to FAT 32 formatted SD card and inserted it to SLOT 1 and waited about 10-15 seconds that SCRIPT installed or SCRIPT done screen appeared (it ran on a 2nd try, on 1st didn't happen/show anything). RESET the MMI again!!!

If you wanna change the map packs (east to west or vice versa), as i read on other forum, you have to remove the activation, install the new map and than activate again (i personaly didn't try it because i use only 1 map).
I think what is important also is, that when you turn on the car or reboot the MMI, you should wait about 2-3 minutes for MMI system to fully boot.

PS: I have changed the order, 1, 3, 2, 4 and everything ok.

To my knowledge it's a 3G basic MMI and someone hacked the Hnav firmware on it.
The MMI doesn't has a hard drive either.
The 32GB Hnav 2019 maps doesn't lead to anything when inserted in the MMI.
A version conflict occures when trying to upgrade the firmware with HNav_EU_K0257_6_D1 (he is on 5_D1).

The MMI runs 3G Basic EUW map on SD ( 4G0919884Q EUW 5.20.4). When removing the SD with the map the navigation stops working.
The MMI accepts the 2019 SD with EUW_Ba_R_5.28.2 and now the map supose to be activated with script Audi_3GB_Fix_K0260

Can the HNav be undone by updating the firmware to BNav_EU_K0260_1_D1?
Will the MMI remove the Hnav firmware and install the BNav K0260 only?
Or should we leave the Hnav firmware on it and activate the EUW_Ba_R_5.28.2 with a different script, and so which script?

@icu07900 sorry, but didn't understood you totally. This are BNAV navigation maps and you should update your MMI with the firmware for BASIC MMI Navigation.
DON'T update andything with this if you use HIGH version of maps and MMI!!! BASIC MMI doeasnt Have hard drive. Before doing anything double check which MMI you have/use

Installation procedure which i used to make it work was:

1. You HAVE to be on K0260 firmware..
2. I uninstalled previous script using Russian hacktivation script
3. Installed new maps (east pack)
4. Installed Audi MMI 3G Basic 2018-2019 5.28.2 Firmware K0260 script and rebooted the MMI.
All works fine for 2 days already...

P.S. If you wanna change the map pack i guess you need to repeat the procedure above (i only use east pack so i don't know)
