I have 3G high mmi on an a5 b8 running 257_6 firmware now. I had to remove cty and lit files to fit on the SD card as max is 32gb in my car but won’t install. Starts but fails. Should I be using 6.32 instead?
I appreciate that but there’s loads of people in the final 2-3 pages saying they’ve loaded 6.35.1 so I wondered if it ‘‘twas this one or another from somewhere else I can’t find?@Sparklehedgehog -- This thread is for 3GP/3G+ systems, hence, the discussion is directed toward installing nav updates on such. Look over here for discussion directed toward your HNav system: MMI 3G navigation 6.30.1 Europe - currently 2020 --g

See my comment to Sparklehedgehog in post #1,423, above. This applies to you, too. --gI have Software version - HNav_EU_K0206_3_D1 and nav database version 8R0060884N ECE 5.12.5 on an audi a6 S-Line. Is there a particular file i need or can i go strait to the latest?
Maybe better to start a new thread on this topic, as it is not related directly to the topic of Euro region nav database updates....
I’m trying to introduce CarPlay, do I have any options at all?
Hi ! I want to say that i also have that issue and to share my experience. Thanks to congo and everyone included i've been updating my own maps since 6.33.1 2021-2022 maps, so not doing it for the first time i prepared 6.35.1 and started the install. After installing it would load to 45% and then just stuck on Please wait, initializing forever. I googled it and every forum post i read said that the hard drive might be gone. So just to be sure i deleted nav database, then nav partition. Reinstalled K0942,and reinstalled 6.33.1 and to my suprise thinking my hard drive failed IT WORKED. So today just to make sure it was the maps not my hard drive i redeleted the nav database and partition and installed 6.35.1, same issue. I redeleted navdatabase and parititon and installed 6.34.1, and everything is working as it should. So to conclusion everyone before thinking it's your hard drive it may be just your maps. Thanks !HEADS UP - ALERT - WARNING
There appear to be issues in some circumstances with the 6.35.1 maps, at least for HN+ systems! I've spent two weeks trying to get past a 'Navigation being initialised - please wait'. Even with @DrGER's help, I couldn't get it to work. Recovery to 6.33.1 maps in User Defined mode was immediate - maps returned straight away.
