These are the required files and folders for Map 6.33.1 with 32GB SD card. Thanks to @JulianHicks for creating the lists.
See "3GP_Filelist.txt" (3GP) and "3GH_Filelist.txt" (3G High) attachments in this post.

You might need GEM (Green engineering menu) activated and use User Defined Mode and manually select all that is under AUDI_MMI3G_ECE if it's not selected.

Warning - FW update K0900 is removing the "Emergency Update" option from the "Green Menu". There is a way that this can be fixed.

• Emergency menu activation on K0900 firmware. [ Only for A5OC ]
• To enable the Green Menu you could use VCDS, VAS or the following script [ Green menu activation ]
• 03623 [ 03623 Remove ]
  1. Unzip it on the SD card.
  2. Put the sd card in the MMI.
  3. When prompted press the center knob.
  4. After the script is done you will see confirmation screen.
  5. Remove the SD card and reboot MMI

Do not use MAC to unpack and/or copy the files to the SD card.

The problem:
I've tried to update my firmware (MMI 3G+) to K0767 and got the following error:

GEMMI_nav:0 error code 141
I could only access "Retry" choice (but update kept blocking at 5% with the same error) or "Back" button that was useless
Unable to do anything else, even the Reset procedure didn't work!

Root cause:
This is a file corruption error, the MMI didn't like what it found on the SD card.
Because I'm a stupid software engineer who thinks he knows best, I didn't trust the forums and copied the files from my mac onto the SD card (using command line to clean-up the .Trashes/ and alike folders)
So this is the lesson: DO NOT COPY FROM A MAC
Sub-lesson: better learn from other's mistakes than redo the experience...

Solution:
As stated previously, even a MMI reset procedure didn't allow me to get out of the error.
So I went to my neighbour's Windows PC, reformatted the SD card and extracted the RAR archive onto it.
Back to the car, update went fine and completed successfully after 30 minutes

Hope this experience will help some fellow here...
LESSONS LEARNED - NEVER USE MAC OS (or Unix, Linux based OS) for unpack and copy map or firmware data into SD card. Also always format SD card in Windows OS. USE ONLY WINDOWS FOR UNPACK/COPY!!!

I had to upgrade Firmware as well. I could not load map data even they were copied in windows. It means that also Firmware was corrupted.
I found cca 10 000 hidden files on Firmware SD card. Dangerous is that Firmware seemed to be OK all the time but it was not and I could destroy whole MMI
(Imagine that FPGA or EEPROM is burned with some hidden apple .bin file....).
Q&A section
Here are some of the questions raised by the forum members about the update process that I might failed to explain in the manual.

Q. Do i need VCDS to do the update?
A. No, you need VCDS only to clear some errors after the update but the MMI will function correctly even if you don’t clear them out.

Q. I have a Bang & Olufsen sound system not a Bose. Does this also mean that i need to exclude it?
A. Yes, better not to update the DSP system.

Q. Currently no updates for North America?
A. Not for now.

Q. I have mmi 3gp , version p0XXX can i go straight to k0900?
A. Yes.

Q. Have found the activation script and it includes "2380_00040009.fsc". This should be changed according to manual Page 31 to the MAC address specifically to my MMI or should I continue to use the "2380_00040009.fsc" as stated in the manual page 18.
A. Leave the filename as it is now.

Q. The 2380_00040009.fsc file contains a VIN number. Should that be changed to my VIN number?
A. No, do not attempt the edit the fsc file.

Q. Will my VIN be visible and correct in the MMI
A. Yes.

Q. Only thing is that my Google Maps option is greyed out... any hints?
A. Reinstall the GEMMI_nav component from the K0900.

Q. 01043 - Control Module; Incorrect Software Version - How can i solve this ?
A. Restart the MMI and remove the key from ignition then put it back in. The error should change from 01043 - Control Module; Incorrect Software Version to 03276 - Please Check Software Version Management.

Q. What does the new firmware bring in terms of added functionality?
A. Not much, apart from K0770/K0767 fixing the issues with the SIM data connection and Bluetooth usage at the same time.

Q. What are 03276 and 03175, will they affect the MMI in anyway and how can they be avoided?
A. 03276 - Please Check Software Version Management will appear every time when the software is updated w/o VAS connection to the VW/Audi servers.
03175 - Invalid Data Set will appear when updating the map w/o deleting it first. Sometimes this helps to avoid that error.
They will not affect the functionality or the sound characteristics of the MMI.

Q. Is there a way to use used defined mode w/o "Green Menu"?
A. Yes. In file metainfo2.txt in the root folder if you remove the line "MetafileChecksum=XXXXXX" and add
EnableUserDefinedSWDLMode = "true"
skipMetaCRC = "true"
the you will be able to use the user mode w/o the green menu.

Warning - At no stage I take responsibility of your actions or any of my notes that may mislead you. Therefore, and like my all other documents I say “use at your own risk”.

@ccb : Better to show us the screen MENU > MMI Setup > Version information; it gives both software and nav database versions.

You write that you extracted to a "flash drive", above. Do you mean full size 32 GB SD card or USB thumb/flash drive connected to a AMI/USB cable? In either case, the device must be formatted as FAT32; and a high speed SD card is preferred here, although USB flash drives have been known to work. Post a screen shot of the Error 146 if you see it again. --g

In regards to the flash drive. Yes, I have gotten myself an adapter from AMI to USB and a 64gB flash drive formatted in exFAT.

FYI, the maps were extracted using the required password. There shouldn't be any problems there.

Audi Navigation doesn't have an ROW version; it publishes 9 versions, so you'd need to specifically quote the one you need.
[Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, Australasia, South America - inc India & Turkey, China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan]

However, this thread has never supplied anything other than the European version so you'd need to ask elsewhere.

Hello. I need a map of Turkey. This map is located inside the Row. He wrote that it will be shared soon in the section I quoted. I asked too. If you have can you share it with me? Thanks.
@ccb : The MMI 3G+ system does not have support for exFAT. These external storage media need to be reformatted as FAT32. The other complication here is that non-OE AMI/USB cables do not always work properly with storage devices (external & flash drives). Hence, full size SD cards are recommended typically for updates of this type. --g

Fair enough.

Could you confirm if everything else is done in the correct manner for me?
I will go get the memory card today.
Also... Could it be a microSD with an adaptor or does it have to be the big SD card instead?

Avoid microSD cards using a full-size adapter. The nav database update transfers many 2 GB files to the MMI hard disk, and you want to minimize the possibility that a faulty electrical connection will corrupt the data transfer; using a microSD card in an adapter only adds another point of failure. And once you've updated successfully, you can repurpose the SD card for music/audiobooks/whatever in SD slot 2. --g

Audi produces a map pack that includes some much smaller regions (Aus/NZ, Middle East 1 & 2, Singapore etc) - I have just literally managed to get my copy of 2021 maps to work in NZ - Congo supplied me a corrected activator to enable these, as there is not one working as yet.

Hopefully he will update the post here with the ROW support maps, mine were 2019 and so its good to have this new version!
Yes,
here is the map link (thanks Byront for that)
And here is prepared fixes:
ANZ 3G+ - 412.3 KB file on MEGA
ME 3G+ (untested yet) 412.4 KB file on MEGA
SA 3GHigh - 412.4 KB file on MEGA
SA 3G+ - 412.4 KB file on MEGA

Install the map, use the activator from very first post and then use the fix provided here.
Enjoy your new map.

Fixes for other parts of the map will be provided on demand

That didn't resolve it.
Is it because I don't have Green menu enabled?

@ccb : Someone reported Error 146 here: MMI 3G+/3GP navigation 6.31.1 and firmware updates -...

The reported solution then was to re-install the firmware.

Another post (from a different forum) also suggests this is related to the installed firmware: mm3g error 146 while updating SOLVED

Now, if you already updated to HN+R...K0942_4, you'll need access to the GEM to enable user-defined software update to be able to (re)select packages that were already updated. --g
There's an easier way to get User Defined mode (if you don’t need the green menu for anything else):
In file metainfo2.txt in the root folder, if you remove the line "MetafileChecksum=XXXXXX" and add the two lines
EnableUserDefinedSWDLMode = "true"
skipMetaCRC = "true"
then you will be able to use the user mode w/o the green menu.

Now when you run the update, the MMI update process will enable User Defined as an option ...
Doesn’t the A6 have a later firmware update K1001?

So your firmware is up tp date, i have found that i had to do the following:
  1. In green menu, go into Nav and delete database
  2. In green menu, go into Nav and delete HDD Partition
  3. In green menu, go into Nav and select delete HDD Partition again, and make sure it tell s you that the partition is rebuilt and you need to install the maps database again
IF you don't get the message in the green menu, it fails to install the maps as it has no idea where to install them. After install i then had to use the firmware card to install the map styles and Gemmi files agian

I don’t think the 1001 update is freely available and BTW (for anyone reading) it’s only for HN+R systems ...
After much effort, I loaded the ROW map. But Turkey is not in it. Thanks for sharing friends.
During the update;
error code : 146 in map update
error code : 145 in map update
error code : 151 in fw update
error code : 150 in fw update
I encountered errors like I deleted the map database and deleted the hdd. But FW never loaded. I ran emergency update but it crashed to red screen. I was worried for a moment. But then I copied the original FW to a different SD card and it updated successfully. All errors have been cleared. Then I installed Row Map. But with all this effort, I could not reach the map of Turkey that I wanted. It's not in it.
To try and work on this while a resolution on the current problem is being investigated.
Could someone tell me which map update should I install on this FW?

Media version: HN+R_EU_AU_K0942_4
Nav. database version: 8R0060884BC ECE 6.16.3

The map level you tried is the correct one; it failed due to an issue you have with your MMI and not because it's the wrong version.

You've never told us where you started; what were the MMI and Map versions before you did any updates?

You've had various suggestions; I would:
1) Download the map files again onto a Windows PC and WINRAR to a PC folder..
2) Format the SD as FAT32 and use the file list in Post #1 to build the appropriate file structure on the SD by copying from PC. [This will fit a 32GB card]
3) Edit the metainfo2.txt to allow User Defined mode.
4) Run the update in User Defined Mode by selecting all the updates that revise levels.
5) If that fails; delete the map data [but not the partition] using Green screen and try again.

Yessss, found an image I took the day before I started to do anything with this.

In regards to your steps. I have tried every step but not the last one. I also don't know how to do it without any additional devices.
If you check my previous version and can see that there is a different reason why it isnt working for me, please let me know what to do.
If not, then I will try your fifth option :)

I really appreciate your help. <3

Did you read the manual from the very first page?
Did you deleted the hddnav partition and then tried to install map?
Sometime when you restart the mmi sooner than needed (during hddnav delete) you need to execute the delete one more time as the partition might be left in unusable state.
Its all in the manual, process was executed thousand times, if for some reason its not working on your mmi i would check the following:
1. SD card with the map
2. Use windows PC to write the files
3. Make sure SD is FAT32 and not exFAT or NTFS
4. Delete the HDDnav partition one more time (just in case)

Regards.
