Hello everyone,

I want to update the firmware of my Audi A6 (4G, C7) because i had my dealer in the Netherlands update the maps to 2016, only to figure out that he did not update the firmware.

My current version is:

HN+R_EU_AU_P0532

8R0060884DF ECE 6.22.4

I have read the manual on how to upgrade and i am left with at least the following questions:


- Can i use the firmware file as stated on the first page of this topic and start to update from my current version P0532 ?
- Since i have the latest map already installed, can i just stop after updating the firmware, and not do anything with the map ?

Thanks Congo,

I have Bose Speakers, so i was trying to do the "User Defined Update".
I can't get the Green Menu to open by pressing the "Car" and "Menu" keys.
No matter how i do it, tried over 30 times, the green menu will not open.

The "Engineering Menu" will open with the given key combination and also rebooting the MMI.

Do you have any suggestion ?

Also, am i correct, that in order to Run the "copy from FSC" script, i just copy to the root of the SD card and then insert the card in slot 1 and then just wait until the screen goes from Russian text, back to normal ?

I guess it is the version with the adjusted metainfo2.txt in the root folder.

I will let you know if it worked.
