Iulian. Mate I am not convinced about the head gasket cos in my experience you would have loads of steam behind the car. I suggest that you take the car for a proper drive say 100km to get her REALLY warm. The short journeys that you normally make PLUS the current really cold weather may just be the problem. GOOD LUCK mate and dont sell it to that b******d for 800 notes!!!

I think that you can possibly trace the problem back to whoever did the water pump change. Either they used a cheap pump OR they did not do the job correctly OR both, hence you are now having these problems.

You need a clean sheet ie FULLY service the car, oil filters and cooling system plus new water pump and then take the car for a long drive, see how she is going and if you have any leaks or whatever. Good luck!!!
