Hi Alex, bought 64 GB full size Sandisk SD card ultra, extracted 2022/2023 maps on it, put it in the SD 1 slot, still the same result:

yes, this is the right one
Did you format the SD card before you upload the maps and what file system is the card FAT32, NTFS or exFAT

the map on sd card FAT32 (tool https://github.com/usbtool/formatusb/releases/download/1.0/formatusb_x64.exe )or test if working exFAT will only work in sd1 slot if you installing the congo activator!!
otherwise the FEC that your actual unit has, will not allowed to use newer maps

its on you, my recommentation are:
stay actual on your software, even its an older one, see here: release history P9122D (MU0842) ➔ P0867D (MU0867) ➔ your actual P0890D (MU0890) ➔P0891D (MU0891) ➔ P0876D (MU0876) ➔ P0879D (MU0879) and run only the congo activatorfor MST2 ... version 2.1
run congo activator takes (5min.) and use the last maps, this will work good

if you like to update because the actual software are with bugs then here the way:

1. update to MST2_EU_VW_P0879 (under mibsolution.one/ MST2 Delphi)
2. run congo activator v2.1 ...VIN
3. update maps 2022/23

read the readme and pdf inside the activator file
1. sd card with congo activator
2. push menu button for 3 sec.
3. plug the sd card in sd1 slot
4. run the activator
5. after 2 reboots wait someminutes, then its done (green screen normally comes - successfull)
6. take out the sd card and go to pc to read the log.txt file on sd card if all was OK!!
7, test the new function with CAR button push often to change to differant screens now, Carplay/Android Auto, etc.. see FEC´s
use standard sd card with new EU maps

MST2 is not MHS2 Please try to keep the topic about MHS2.
There are too little MST2 units in Audi cars anyway and they cant do navi or carplay so not worth patching them
It is true i put a link to MST2 activator too but the main topic here is MHS2.

I already used the activator that Congo posted and managed to insert the new maps 22/23. I need instructions to further activate apple car play. do i need to upgrade the software or is this enough?

no its only charging, its missing inside the media chip/support

First of all -> Hello to everyone.
I recently owend a Audi A4 B9 without navigation system. Android Auto and Carplay was enabled by default, and usb-connectors are in the car.
My MMI has Software MHS2_ER_AU_P2035 currently installed.
I ran the Activator from the SD Card succesfully (green Screen - OK). Then downloaded the 22/23 Maps from the first page. Put an SD Card (FAT32 formated) and put it in the first slot of the mmi.
But after initzializing it always said no navigation data.
Do I have to enable navigation with vcds? Is there any programming in the control unit necessary?
