I just recently bought this S5, 70k miles, manual, with the issue that it won’t drive. The engine will fire up, and from neutral, it will not engage any gear. If I push it hard enough 1st gear will grind. Now, if the car is off, and I throw it into gear, press the clutch all the way down, and start it, the car will jolt forward as if the clutch was not depressed! I kind of have an idea of what can be the issue, but anyone whom might have some more experience with issues like this that can give me some pointers, would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like the slave cylinder but you should fit a whole clutch kit while you're in there.

This is a common issue with the V8 S5. You need a new clutch kit. Most of them go around 40-50k miles.
