Do they have an actual allocation for your A5 6SP? The allocations are broken down by manual and automatic, not just by A5 or S5 or whatever. That could be the issue - I ordered a 6SP S5 in April, and it's on a boat already, but that was because they had an immediate 6SP allocation available. On order since April: Audi A5 S-line 6 speed Masino Red

No build date yet. Dealers other A5 orders all automatics for september and october delivery have build dates. Any ideas why this is?
Thanks!!!
That would be great news! I've been waiting for a manual allocation for the past few months as well. It really ruins your day when the dealer calls and says they have received allocations, but for automatic transmissions only. They told me Audi expected more allocations for manual A5's July 15th
That's really odd... especially given the fact that manual A5s were released in the US before automatics.since i placed my order in august of 2007... my dealership has yet to get an allocation for a manual shift a5... what is with this? (it says above april, but thats why my dealership put the car into the system) I have had first dibs on the audi since august of 2007..
Yeah, they need to do something! I think it's quite ridiculous that they haven't yet been allocated a single manual A5 in all this time. They said they would start talking with the district to get me a car.
Lewy, I bought my S5 from the Syracuse dealer. I made my deal in February 08 on a car they ordered for stock in July of 07. When I first spoke with them they seemed to be upset that they had no hard orders ANY 5 series. I jumped on ordering mine after seeing online that they were hard to get.On order since April: Audi A5 S-line 6 speed Masino Red
