No, it's a typo. They were going to offer it but they canceled it because the ovals were selling well. I asked them before I ordered mine.

dammit you guys are right. o well i guess ill have to settle for the ovals. heres the email i got fro them.

Moshe

Thanks for the inquiry, unfortunately we will not be offering a quad tip version of the exhaust system as the single oval RS style have been very well received with great reviews.

We can offer our current system in either polished or thermal coated black for a more aggressive look.

Let me know if you would like to place an order.

The system sells for $1645.00 and the downpipes are discounted from $450.00 to $300.00 if purchased at the same time.

I can offer you free shipping in the continental USA on a system if you can place an order by this Wednesday which is an additional savings of up to $120.00 depending on where you are located.

AWE has great quad pipes. From what I have read and heart, Milltek is lacking in the sound department.

Below is what A.W.E ppl told me why they're better than GMG.
" We chose to use just one muffler to save weight, keep costs acceptable and get a better sound from the car. There is no real need for two mufflers. I have not heard the car with two mufflers, other than stock, but I can only imagine it greatly cuts the sound down and restricts flow. Adding another muffler seemed like it would be over kill for what we were looking to accomplish. That was more power, less weight and a great muscular V8 sound. Have you seen the performance gains and heard the sound clips on our web site? Mission accomplished!

You will see other systems talking about crossover tubes. We use the forward positioned muffler to achieve the same effect as a crossover would. By having both pipes come into one chamber, the pulse pressure is equalized thus reducing the harsh sound like a straight dual system would have. This also lends itself nicely to the perfect sound coming out the tailpipes. That equalization also improves overall flow and performance.

We have engineered out exhaust to be a perfect direct bolt on upgrade. All factory hangers are used and no permanent modifications are made to the car. You can go back to stock at any time.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Ok guys!!

You beat us up enough with the requests for the quad pipes.!!!!

Thanks for all the orders on the oval tip systems.. I didnt know we had some many S5's on the road!! Wowo!

We will be adding a quad pipe option in the future, my S5 goes to our fabrication shop next week.. :) I will post some pics up once we get the tips fitted to the car.

We will retain both mufflers, we feel its the proper way to build a system for this car.

Every company has there "reason" for building there system a certain way... I guess we should all agree to disagree on what works best.

I drive my S5 everyday and absolutely love the way it sounds with our World Challenge system.......... I am grateful that many of you share the same feelings........ :)

Just a clarification for everyone, the quad-tips are made to order not pre-made / stocked. I'm trying to get a pic from GMG before committing to anything.

No it means that GMG sub-contracts the exhaust systems to another company who makes them for GMG. GMG just sells them.

I have the GMG exhaust and downpipes on my S5, and the set up is amazing. At first I ordered the AWE b.c of its fame, and the quad style pipes. However, after being really hesitant i couldn't wait for AWE to deliver so i just ordered GMG and got it literally 3 days after i ordered it, and got it installed right away, and it sounds SOOOO GOOD. I think the RS pipes look better than the quad. Trust me i doubted it when i ordered it, but the second u turn ur car on after the installation; you will love GMG and yourself a whole lot more. Try them if you can...they are awsome

Yea this makes the choice a lot easier :D
Fabryce, do you know an approximate date of when the exhaust system could be available with quad tips?
