Lights not turning on when unlocking car

ok so usually
If your in a dark area and you unlock your car the drls
Fogs and fear turn on which is cool,
Now today I got a vagcom and did some basic mods such as drive select and battery meter, I tried to do the ambient light and interior light but it didn't really work so I changed it back to normal , now when I unlock the car only sometimes the light turn on when I unlock the car,
I haven't changed the exterior light settings at all,
Both the coming&leaving home
Functions are
On and the switch is set to auto,
What could I have done for it to make it not turn on sometimes
, when I turn the ignition on the lights do turn on if it is dark , so I know the auto feature still works, any pointers?

I had issues when I enabled my battery meter and lost most of the settings under the Car button.

Another kind user on here pointed out to me that in C:\Program Files\VCDSxxx\Debug, there are files in which VCDS records exactly what modifications have been made.

Using this data I put in the original codes that were set and all functionality resumed as per normal. I then made some alterations such as the reverse mirror tilt, lap timer, handbrake off with no foot brake, etc and left the battery meter alone.

Il try turn off battery meter to see if it fixes the problem, if not il just back track all my mods

Mine is the same but I thought it was due to the sensor so it knows when to put them on and even not to.

hey, i dont think the problem was with the battery meter, it was to do with the battery being almost dead!, the car did tell me to start the car or it will turn off the mmi because on the battery meter it was less than 25%, so i think that had something to do with it, the next day i drove and refilled the battery level and it has been working normally like it should, hope that helps
