Before I start trawling through Google, I just wondered if there was anyone on here who may be able to help me.

I recently ordered a full air ride kit and installation from a UK company and haven't had chance to get it fitted yet.

I've just found out I've been made redundant so politely asked for this to be refunded due to the circumstances.

They have refused on the basis that it was a one off deal and they can't return the hardware to their supplier. Am I within my rights to demand a refund?

Thanks for your help

provided you are within the 14 days; Check their t&c's and whether the page with the product you bought said it was special custom order etc? If not then make sure you get screenshots of the pages in case your cc company need it later and send them an email that under the distance selling regulations you will be returning these items as per your t's&c's etc and send the item back tracked delivery. Give them time to refund you. If they dont inform your bank or cc company and let them deal with it

BUT your order was more complex cos it involved supply and fitting, as I read this. Did you pay a deposit or a full payment?? Surely they should seek to help given your bad news???

I paid in full via bank transfer. I don't have any of the goods yet as it was supply and fit.

I read that if the seller doesn't give you a return period, then you have 12 months to return products. I think the fitting part is easier to get back as that hasn't happened.

Thanks for everyone's support and help
