I’m experiencing an annoying knocking clicking clunking noise when reversing car drives fine in all other gears just reversing if you’ve experienced this sound you’ll know what I’m on about I’ve read on a few other threads that it’s the duel mass flywheel but I had the noise before and have since had that replaced hoping that would fix it but loan behold the noise is still there so I’m hoping someone can point me in the right direction

propshaft , diff, propshaft support bearing ? check that area mate

Thanks will have a look into it as have just been trying to live with it but now experiencing a strange whining noise when driving at slower speeds and when sat at a standstill or in slow moving traffic getting a strange oily like burning smell inside the car wishing I’d kept my 2.0 tdi manual tbh
