I know it's a ways off, but I wanted to "get in line" since my dealer told me 8-12 months.
Here's what I did:
2009 A5 manual
cinnamon brown interior
deep sea blue (or if possible, he's checking, aruba blue...I could do sprint blue for $2,500 but I passed)
premium package
bang & olufsen stereo
audi music interface
aluminum trim inlays
I'm pretty psyched about this car. It's obviously going to be a long wait, but I know it will be worth it. It will be hard giving up on my swedish cars (I've driven a SAAB or Volvo since 1998...current car is a '06 volvo S60R). Although I'll still be keeping my '98 Volvo V70R and am currently picking up an '87 Volvo 240 wagon with 176K miles...for free! So I'm not totally leaving my true love, volvo. I just wasn't happy with the direction volvo was taking plus the discontinued the R...so bye bye volvo and hello Audi. Plus my wife also ordered yesterday the 2009 Audi A4 to replace her Porsche Cayenne. All in all it was a good day. Nice way to celebrate the anniversary of our meeting 10 years ago on that date. Now June 7 will have even more meaning.
I'd like to have this car ideally in March/April '09. My current lease runs out in May '09 but I could eat a few months on my volvo to get into this audi.
Also curious to know if anyone has seen/ordered this color combination with the aluminum inlays?
