Anyone else order a tiptronic 3.0 tdi yet?

Snap... well snapish. Ordered a 3.0 TDI Quattro 6-Speed in Deep Sea Blue with Cinnamon leather, 18" V spoke etc.. etc.. about a week and a half ago. Can't wait. Mind you I got a week 14 slot, so should have it end of April / start of May!!! can't wait.

v lucky to get such early delivery, guy in Audi ireland told me they not starting producing tiptronic in 3.0 tdi until early may, how true that is i dont know?

Hey guys, congrats on the orders, v exciting - nobody seems to know a whole lot about how good or bad the Tip will be in the TDI A5 (though it sounds as though it would have been fantastic if it was the S-Tronic that was available instead)...
I ordered my 3.0TDI Tip at end of Jan, but the dealer in Belfast had a waiting list that means I'm looking at start of July delivery: you're really lucky to be getting yours earlier! Will look forward to hearing more from you and others as these start to appear in the UK/Ireland spec. Hope the waiting isn't too tough

Ouch Viper - that's a whole lot of waiting: better be some car when it finally arrives
The waiting's so hard when you see all the pictures and stories from everyone on this site, but hopefully Audi will have ironed out any little bugs by the time they come to manufacture ours
