So far I've done:

Machine polish


Facelight LED rear light upgrade, LED rear number plate lights, LED reverse lights



Honeycomb fog grill surrounds


Front speaker upgrade, 12" sub+amp in the rear


FL flat bottom steering wheel


RS5 interior door handles


R8 oil cap


Carbon fibre wing mirror caps


Wrapped the dash trims in satin black


Stainless pedal set


Replaced faulty air quality sensor which was causing a few error codes
Dynamic wing mirror indicators
Hardrace rear ARB
Replaced advanced key sensors
Eibach pro lowering springs
15mm spacers all round
S Line side skirts
S Line front and rear bumpers
Transmission mount insert
LED front fogs
Wrapped the window trim in satin black
Changed gear knob to perforated leather


Stuff on the do list:
I've got three glow plugs which need replaced - the car still runs fine but the mechanic said they're stuck pretty tight so might be a longer job than usual
Paint brake calipers
Wrap the grill - it's peeling badly in a couple of places

wondering how you find the eibach pro springs? I’m looking at lowering my black edition a5 and it’s between the H&R OE springs or the eibach. I’ve got 19” rotors and heard the eibach doesn’t give as much of a drop as the OE?

It's been a long time since i researched this but think the H&R might give an extra 5mm or 10mm? The Eibach drop the front slightly more than the rear to get rid of the reverse rake which I don't think the H&R does but i'd need to check.

I'm really happy with the end result on mine, i think if you look at the way the car sits on the springs rather than the amount of drop you get a better idea of what it will look like rather than trying to think in terms of drop. I wouldn't want mine any lower but i'm on 20s and have spacers which gives me a bit less scope too.

Yeah from what I’ve read up - eibach sits nice with 20” but I think on 19” would need the OE. Small part of me thinks f*ck it and get the h&r sport ha!
