Is it possible to change the Inlays?

I am ordering a 09 A5 with Linen Beige interior. I want to get the Dark wood Inlays , but they are not an option with the Linen Beige for 09. They were for 08 , but I guess not 09. Is it possible / difficult to change them after purchase?

Yes it can be done. I was scheduled to have mine done by the dealer and then changed my mind...

If I recall correctly it was 3 hours labor.....

YOU? Change your mind about something? That would NEVER happen! :D ;)
So Do they just order the pieces and install them?
Can't help re the replacement of inlays question - but I love the linen beige with the light almond ash wood.

Re the dark wood with linen beige - I know in Australia you can order it with the dark wood - I'm sure if you insist I can't see why they can't order it like that for you...After all Audi can do it!

Yes
how much does the dealer charge for the inlays? is it the $500 on the option list? or do they hike the price?
I called a dealer yesterday. They told me 358.00 for the Center Console. And 330.00 each for the door inserts and the back inserts.
A5 Wood Inlays. I want to change them.

I ordered an A5 which will be delivered at the end of December. I can't wait. I found out that since i ordered the Linen beige interior, I can only get the light wood. I saw the light wood in some other car and i hate it. What can I do? Can I pull the inlays out and get the darker wood inlays put in? What do you think? thanks

Merged your new thread with the existing one you had already posted back in October on the same topic.
