Hi Everyone
I have a 2011 A5 2.7d it has 125000 miles on the clock and runs like a dream, however my engine management light comes on intermittently approximately 5 times in the last 2 months.
The car goes into limp mode and have to stop switch the engine off and restart it again, this clears the fault and the cars ok again!!!!
I have plugged it onto a code reader but there are no codes stored in the memory so I have no idea what's causing the problem.
The only thing I can think of doing now it to plug the reader in every time I drive the car and wait until it goes into limp mode again and see if it comes up with a code.
Has anyone else had a similar problem and if so what was it?
