Hi,

I always thought that because you can control what temperature you want on your side of the car, i.e. passenger or driver, the same thing could be done with how much air you want coming out of the blowers? Anyway, when I tried this everytime I turned the airflow up on drivers side it went up the same on the passengers and vice versa? The Car went in to the Dealers today so I thought I'd get them to look at this for me in case there was a problem or I was just being a numpty on how it worked? They came back and said that the car doesn't have this feature because apparently there's only one fan behind the dash and that single fan controls all the blowers in the Car?

Can you lot confirm that this is correct please?

All of the Audi's I have had have been as you describe. I think there is only one fan unit so you only get one fan speed.

The climate control is only capable of varying the temparature on each side of the car to my knowledge.

I have never seen an Audi (modern anyway) where you could set different ventilation speed for either of the climate zones. You can set different target temperatures and you can point the air in different directions such as just the lower blowers etc... but only way to change the ventilation speed for different climate zones (as opposed to all zones) would be to manually adjust the blowers, I think.

I don't know if the automation is able to control things more precisely, but at least manual adjustment is only for one global ventilation speed I believe.

Yes, of course that is always possible.

I guess the question was how to adjust the flow per zone via the electrical controls. I don't think it is possible, adjusting one side of the car affects the other as well when adjusting just the flow speed.

So, manually adjusting the outlets using the vent dials remains the only option I believe.
