Anyone able to help me please?

Drive a 08” Audi A5 1.8TFSI. Just had an auxiliary water pump done by audi, engine wasn’t getting to temperature and thought that was the reason for high fuel usage.

The problem is from a 400 miles tank i’m only getting about 300 out of it, the first 150 miles is spot on but after that it begins to drink it. Any suggestions on what it could be? Tried carbon cleans, fuel additives ect nothing worked.

Thanks

Hehe ok lets see.....
1. Waddya mean only 300 miles from a 400 mile tank.
2. The 1.8TFSi is never gonna be good on fuel cos you have a small engine pulling a big heavy car.
3. FORGET that crap computer telling you the range.
4. FILL the car to the brim, press the trip and then run 350 miles and fill her again to the brim.

THIS is the true fuel consumption, not the stupid range that the on board computer tells ya.

You will never get near to accurate mpg from the computer, everything depends on how you drive, how quickly you change up etc etc. Get real!!!!!
