Help routing cables

I'm in the process of fitting some amber led strobes for work etc.

Got the strobes fitted in the front bumper but can't find an easy route into the passenger cabin to wire in. From what I can tell the main battery feed goes through the passenger wheel arch into the car. Do I need to remove the wheel arch liner to find where the engine bay cabling enters the cabin?

Also, anyone know how to remove the speaker covers in the rear parcel shelf? Are they just clipped in or screwed?

Planning to pick up a +ve feed from the passenger dashboard fuse box.

Cheers.

Surely someone must know the best way to run some cables from the engine bay to behind the dash. I've got the cables to the back routed in and found a +ve connection at the fuse box, just need to route the cables from the front strobes inside now.

I know there is a route into the car from the drivers side as thats where the main loom enters the cabin but seeing as you want to go fromt he opposite side your only way in will be through the bulkhead under the windscreen area(i think). There may be another route if you take out the wheel liner there will be hole will a blanking grommet on it where the washer bottle is located. Have a try from there but im not 100% sure from the passenger side area.

Remove the trim by the brake fluid reservoir and you will see a grey box with a black lid on it. Remove the torx screws and it will expose the main ECU along with some cables. Thes cables go into the car and will exit just above the drivers accelerator pedal area. You can feed your cables in throught he rubber grommets and into the car.

And yes the rear speaker grilles are clipped in and can be removed by levering them out with a falt object/screwdriver. As described by Audi:
Fold the rear seat backrest forwards.
– Use a screwdriver to unclip -arrow- the loudspeaker trim -1-.
– Equipment version with speaker: Unplug electrical connector and pull out speaker trim to front.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
– Press on the loudspeaker trim until it is heard to engage.

I would be careful trying to prise out the rear speaker grills, you will almost certainly break the retaining tags off if you do it this way. To get them off you have to remove the whole shelf, even then its very easy to break the tags off as my Audi dealer found out. there is a thread on here somewhere with pictures of how to do this but I cant remember where it is

Thanks for your help with this (especially morski). The job is now done. I did take the passenger arch liner out but couldn't find a way through. Ended up coming across to the main ECU box and through that way.

may i ask what are you needing the strobes for?! are these on the A5?

Yes on the A5. Work sometimes requires me to park in the middle of the road and look down manholes which is slightly hazardous. Further, some voluntary work I do requires me to drive in highly pedestrianised areas and while in reality amber strobes (nor blue for that matter) don't make people move at least if I do hit someone they have less grounds for a claim against me if I've attempted to make myself highly visible.
