Tooling on, breaking down gradually, smell rubbery type smell that made me think tyres or clutch, a little smoke i thought, THEN.... Dash reads NO REVERSE GEAR BUT I MAY STILL DRIVE?
CHUGGS ALONG THEN WHEN SLOW AGAIN NO GEARS AT ALL.
left with ignition off in pure shock really as just paid 17k for it, tried it again found second gear and managed to get to hotel.
Do you think clutch gone?

Could you try typing that again, but with some grammar please? It's nearly impossible to understand that you're trying to convey, other than you have no reverse gear?

£17k is cheap for an RS5, so I would say you’re bound to have a few teething issues as you’re at the higher mileage end of the market.
