Just taking my first look in here

I'm a long time BMW driver, currently in a 325 M Sport - have been thinking of an E92 M3, but must admit the S5 is now starting to appeal to me as a less extreme option.

Bought a new 3.2 TT last April with DSG , Magnetic Ride etc, and we are pretty impresed by it - Mrs L hogs it all the time now .

Might be placing an order soon, and hope to join in the fun and banter on here

I am - yep , our prices are even scarier than the UK

I'm looking at € 103,000 for the spec I fancy

Wow. Pricing there is just brutal. I wonder how Audi subsidizes the US pricing? Your car would be $150,000 with our horrible exchange rate. However our cars are under $60,000.

I think the answer is that most of the difference in both the UK and Ireland is tax although car companies do also seem to sell very cheap in the US.

I am Irish myself Aiden, so I know how it feels, although I am currently enjoying slightly better prices in the UK.

Still it is a great car and I am sure you will love it. Mine is due in March/April.

You're lucky to get the benefit of UK prices

I haven't ordered yet, just moving closer though

We have 30% Vehicle Registration tax here and 21% VAT, so it all adds up

Hope prices for large engined cars don't go up in the December budget !!!!
