I believe the Audi 5ive cars were designed by a man that can see the future. How does a car still look this good a decade later?. I mean, even now I get comments on the road how gorgeous my car looks. Therefore I had a plan.. why spend money on getting something new when I can just put money into something I already own. Since I love the look of the facelifted Audi S5 but hate the fact that they downsized the 4.2L naturally aspirated V8 to a 3.0L Supercharged V6. Hence my goal was to facelift my B8 look to a B8.5 look that I admire. Here's my path to building something unique and special to me that I'll forever hold on to...

So I started off with a Prestige Tiptronic 2011 S5 that i really liked. It had a Phantom Black Pearl exterior paint which is great with the interior consisting of Carbon Fiber inlays with Black leather seats.

I at this point i decided that i needed more power so i then looked into a roots style supercharger that could give me more torque. However, i realized that for longevity i'd need a transmission that would be able to hold the power of the added torque and thought about a transmission swap but then cost wouldn't make it a smart move. So i decided to trade the car in for a manual with the intention of upgrading my clutch to JHM 3R with their lightweight flywheel and pressure plate. SO FROM AUTO TO MANUAL.

So here I had a choice about what i wanna go after first because of funds constraints whether it be exterior facelift or performance with a roots supercharger (TVS1740). I went with the exterior ;-)

So the front bumper will not be able to fit without modifying the secondary air pump bracket to fit it closer to the radiator for needed space.

Pretty damn fine, hanif! Love your work. I’m actually sitting in my garage right now, staring at the 5’s grille, and thinking that a silver one like yours would change things up a bit... Hmmm.

So I believe at this point i seen a couple people retrofit an RS5 retractable spoiler and i felt that it would match the oem look that i was seeking and its just pretty damn cool ;-)

Note: My Audi S5 is a 2010 Prestige with the Convenience Control Module (CCM) of: 8K0 907 064 DG
From what i read prior to install is that earlier models S5 will have to get a new module that's compatible. I think i was on the edge of it working or not but an easy way of confirming is by using vag cable to see if the settings are there to enable the spoiler. if so, then you'll be good to go.

So here is a youtube link of the spoiler working:

Yeah, can't really go wrong with silver or black. I choose it because it gives it contrast with the phantom black pearl color and the other silver/aluminum trim pieces.

Ok so now its time for my ride to handle the way i want it to and i desire less body roll going around corners because if it looks like a sports car might as well handle like one. So to get the job done i got these below:
Eurocode Front Sway Bar (on soft settings to reduce understeer)
Eurocode Rear Sway Bar ( on stiff settings to increase oversteer)
Eurocode End Links F&R
Eurocode Alu Kreuz/Chassis Brace (Lost this $420 part while i was moving,..F##k)
Bilstein PSS10 coilovers (I forgot the settings)
Eurocode Transmission mount insert
Eurocode Rear Differential insert
