Government plans to prevent tuning

Just came across this article that says the government are planning to prevent tuning and modification of vehicles. In the article it says it could be applied to all vehicles not just classics. Not good news for us lot on here who thrive on mods.

Amazing just how far reaching this will be if implemented. They will probably carry out that assessment at MOT. Absolute nightmare - hope this never gets the go ahead. Imagine how many businesses will fold plus it will stifle invention and engineering advancements.

With electrification, acoustic speed traps and speed limiters, if modifications are banned then tomorrows drivers will have such a generic, uninteresting, drama less, lacklustre experience of motoring.
