Got The Call!!!

Hello to all,

My dealer just gave me a call and gave me the sweet news that my car is in production:D . Audi should start building it next week or so! i am soooooooooo
stoked after being left in the dark since January. I am still wondering if i will get the 08 model since I ordered in January, or the 09 because of the May production. Does anyone know?

your car will be an '09.
i ordered mine in FEB and its finally being built later this month and was told its an '09!! :)

That is great news. I'm still not sure about the seats with the S Line package, I'm sure I will be happy just to get my car!

what tha...! I order mine in January and I was told I would get in early june... I talked to the delar last week and he said I would get it early Aug. :mad:

Seems as if they don't prioritize Sweden that much... I guess I'll be getting the 09 model as well.

Huh, what? That's contrary to everything that I've been reading on the internet (here and other forums) and what my dealer has told me - my build date is the week of 5/26, and they have told me that it's a 2009 MY car for certain.

If you're saying that week 22 is the last week of 08, then my car is officially being built in week 23, the first week of the 09 MY.

Would there be a difference in dates for 09 U.S. spec and European specs? Maybe Europe's 09 will be a different build date, style, options (better)! Or is it all the same.

They'll be on the same boat too arriving in SD! My dealer is Mission Viejo Audi, so they certainly will be "brothers". Man, I haven't been so excited about a car in a long, long time...:D

Went to the dealer today, and he says at the end of the month or a few days into June I will receive my car. He is still waiting on the VIN # for me to make the big payment. So I guess I will not be getting an 09 model but my car sooner! :D Whats plan or first thing your going to do when you get your car?
