Hi all,

Just wondering what's the "general" rule of thumb calculation when translating MSRP to out-the-door price here in Los Angeles area? I found an S5 through an "car hunter" and I'm expecting to pay MSRP for the S5. Assuming it's an 08 model, the MSRP is $57,715 with tech, navi, b&o and carbon. So, if that's the case, how much should I expecting to pay out-the-door? I've heard anything between 10% to 18% on top of MSRP, but just wondering what you have to say based on your past purchasing experience?

Thanks,

first time car purchaser in LA...

Total expenses, including sales tax, should be about 10-11% on top of the price you pay.
