What's your times? Timed my car today.

0-62mph = around 6.2 sec (I just don't want launch too hard)
0-100mph = 13.8 sec
0-125mph = 21 sec
60-80mph = 3.4 sec (4th)
60-100 = 7.6-7.8 sec (4th/5th)

Not sure how much the HP I have now, but it's very strong on boost and really moved well and pushes you back into the seat in 3rd and 4th. 1st and 2nd gear is too short to really put the torque / turbo to work.

Hi Swedie, what system were you using for timing - GPS-based?

Used an incredible system based on a many hundred years of evolution... my fingertip on a stopwatch. The times are average times to be fair and take in account human errors.

I'll try and find a GPS based product and redo the testing if that's required for the times to be taken seriously.

Isn't your 0-62 time slower than standard spec (5.9 seconds)??

Use GPS, stopwatch measure is very inaccurate.
Here is mine from GPS:

1/4 mile in 14.10 seconds / 159.4KPH
0-20 in 0.45
0-40 in 1.32
0-60 in 2.70
0-80 in 4.40
0-100 in 6.13
0-120 in 8.13
0-140 in 10.97
0-160 in 13.98

Isn't your 0-62 time slower than standard spec (5.9 seconds)??

Perhaps the remap he had was to improve fuel economy and reduce acceleration

I don't know of anyone that have done 5.9 with a standard A5, or modified. And as I wrote on the same line, I don't like launching the car too hard. And the winter tires really don't grip all too much.
