Simple answer is no. Non working cat is a failure.

You can give it a try and with National Tyres doing an MOT for around £30.00 it's nowt to lose.

If it passes happy days but if it doesn't it's wallet open time

So emissions test completed with out cats! Lambda was good, Hydro carbons was good , Co2 was 5 times the limit so no good, ive just ordered 200 cell sports cats , that are euro 4 spec'd which should be fine , even though our cars are euro 5 , the difference between the euro 4 and euro 5 for petrol cars is diddly squat
