Hi, I've got halogen headlights and rear lights on my 2012 facelift A5 Sportback SE, and am interested in fitting LED versions. I've been told that the 2012+ halogen lights have different plugs, cables etc from the pre-2012 version. Can anyone confirm?

The reason for the question is that most of the LED upgrades for halogen lights on the A5 seem to be aimed at pre-facelift models.

The headlights are the facelift shape but they take halogen bulbs. The taillights also take halogen bulbs and look like the pre-facelift ones to me, even though they are on a facelift A5. I've attached some photos
