Engine modifications

Engine modifications. What do you guys know about mods to the 4.2L V8. I know its used in several other Audi/VW vehicles. Do the standard chip, CAI, and exhaust get you a good bump in Hp and torque?

There's not too much you can do to the 4.2 other than taking the speed limiter off and getting an exhaust (not sure of the hp gains there) unless you go for the supercharger - 450hp, but check out the cost!

APR is supposed to be coming out with a supercharger for the 4.2 someday, and it will likely be considerably cheaper - though I'm sure NOT cheap - than the MTM unit.

Whats the top speed when the car has been de limited?

I think I read somewhere that the S5 is geared to 170mph.....should be plenty fast enough!!

go on guys, call MTM do this and that, ruin your car! and when you're all done ruining your cars i'll have the best and only car.

With your comments on this forum I am guessing you are 15, can't afford an A5 so keep dreaming that you'll have the only one.
